Simisola Ogunleye, Nigerian singer and song writer, on Tuesday ‘brother-zoned’ Femi Falana, Nigerian rapper better known as Falz, to dispel rumours of an attraction between them.

Simi took to her Twitter page to express her feelings for Falz, saying “Falz is hot”.

Her fans were quick to read meaning into her tweet as they began making comments about her tweet.

In response to a fan’s tweet “And he likes you”, the Love Don’t Care crooner said “As a sister in the Lord”.

There have been speculations that the stars had feelings for each other, as they have continued collaborating on various works.

Falz featured in Jamb Question, a popular single by Simi, and she featured in the former’s Soldier.

“And she finally confessed,” another Twitter user commented.

There are rumours that Simi is in a relationship with Adekunle Gold, YBNL act and Pick Up crooner, but they are unconfirmed.

The 28-year old singer seems to be close friends to both musicians as she is seen with them at various places.

Few days ago, a video of Simi was posted on Femi Falana’s SnapChat account. Simi appeared in the video saying “I’m the boss.”

The Covenant university graduate of Mass Communication wrote her first song when she was 10 and is known for several hit tracks like Tiff, Jamb Question and Love Don’t Care.
