Six killed in fresh suicide attacks in Maiduguri

Four teenage girls blew up two men in Maiduguri, capital of Borno, in the early hours of Wednesday, resulting in a total of six deaths.

Acoording to National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the girls detonated strapped explosives along Muna Garage, Maiduguri.

“Four female teenage  suicide bombers and two other  men died ( 6 people) when they detonated explosives at Usmanti along muna Garage road at about 1. 15 am,” NEMA said in a statement.

“Sixteen people who got injured were administered with first aid by rescue workers before being transported to the state specialist hospital and university teaching hospital in Maiduguri Borno state”.

University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital has promised to treat insurgency victims for free, on the account of Victims Support Fund.
