Soludo appoints 37-year-old lawyer as special adviser on legal matters

Tochukwu Nweke has been appointed as the special adviser on legal matters to Chukwuma Soludo, governor of Anambra state.

Nweke’s appointment was announced in a statement issued by Paul Nwosu, commissioner for information.

In addition to Nweke, seven other persons were named to various positions, including Bob-Manuel Udokwu, Nollywood actor, as special adviser on entertainment, leisure and tourism.

The 37-year-old lawyer was the head of chambers Onyechi Ikpeazu SAN & Co, a litigation firm in Abuja, before his appointment.

The lawyer is said to have worked with a number of prominent legal experts including Onyechi Ikpeazu, a renowned senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

Nweke, who was born on October 10, 1984, in the Nsugbe LGA of Anambra State, earned his law degree in 2008 from the famed University of Nigeria, Nsukka, before going on to the Nigerian Law School in Abuja.

He is an alumnus of Dennis Memorial Grammar School, Anambra state.

The lawyer is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, Certified Freedom of Information Professional, and other professional organisations.
