Moni is obsessed with being ready for every conceivable emergency. Her favourite saying is, “if you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready.” She likes to boast to her husband, Yemi, that she will never be caught dead in an avoidable emergency. Being asthmatic, this makes sense. Yemi will nonetheless sensibly remind Moni that the whole point of emergencies is that one did not conceive of it, and hence did not plan to avoid it. Nevertheless, she will buy everything in bulk. Moni even has two wall clocks in her home, despite having only one spot to hang a wall clock in the whole house.

Life, of course happens even to the best of us. And even Moni, armed to the teeth and prepared for most eventualities is not exempt from this. The thing is, if you had told her this before she had the death scare that changed her outlook she would have told you outright, “You are crazy, you don’t know who I am!”

She has every right to say this, because as she told her best friend Hanna when she asked her, “what if one day, somehow you forget to get something and you are caught up in an emergency, what then?”, “that means plan B has failed,” she replied, “time to activate plan C – plan Yemi.” Her husband, she knows will always come to the rescue. But even plan C’s can fail. And it did when she ran out of inhaler at 2am and her husband, being no pharmacist could do nothing if he wasn’t saved by a tip from his neighbours.

Their immediate neighbour, Musa being a medical personnel, always has a number to call for every emergency and he was the first person that came to mind when it became clear Moni had no backup inhaler for the first time in their 7 year marriage.

Musa may know a pharmacy owner, Yemi thought, and dashed out to wake and ask Musa.

“Ahh, Bro, in this Lekki there is only one place you can depend on at this hour,” a sleepy eyed Musa replied to Yemi’s hurried questions, “Medplus is open 24/7 now.” Medplus runs 24 hour service pharmacies in Ikeja, V.I, Magodo, and the one at Lekki came through for Moni.

Moni, who would have huffed at the idea if she had heard about this development before this incident, discovered that sometimes you need a Plan D that you didn’t even know exists. Medplus is always available for you too, 24/7 in all these locations. More than that, Medplus is available to take call orders and inquiries via chat on WhatsApp on 07025001673, 07025001674, 08187122408. With door-to-door delivery, every inconvenience has been lifted off your shoulders.

To ensure intimate relations with its customers, Medplus also maintains a robust social media presence for you to stay abreast of any new developments. You can follow Medplus on social media platforms and slide into their DMs to place an order or ask your pressing questions via;  @medpluspharmacyng on Instagram, @medpluspharmacy on Twitter, and Medplus Pharmacy Limited on LinkedIn or visit medplusnigeria.com

We cannot all be a Moni, and that’s alright because when it matters the most; we’re here to be more than a Yemi for you. 24 hours & 7 days of the week.
