Stellar Eminence to hold tech conference on Africa’s digital transformation

Africa’s leading thinkers, builders, and innovators will gather at the Civic Centre in Lagos for Future X 2025.

According to a statement by Stellar Eminence, the conference, scheduled for August 22 and 23, is designed to shape the future of technology and innovation in Africa over the next decade.

Scheduled to hold in 2025, the event is expected to host over 1,500 participants, including startup founders, investors, engineers, policymakers, creators, and professionals from across Africa and beyond.

With the theme “Empowering Africa’s Development Through Technology,” the conference will explore bold ideas across key sectors such as fintech, artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity, startups, intellectual property, and human resources.

“Key sessions at the conference include: keynote address by Ayo Akinola, a tech executive and founder with deep knowledge of the ecosystem development,” the statement said.

“Fireside chat with Dr. Harrison Nnaji, a respected voice in cybersecurity and digital trust. He’s going to be explaining how we can secure Africa’s digital future.

“The two-day program will feature a mix of general sessions, breakout workshops, and industry panels, alongside opportunities for collaboration, talent discovery, and networking from across Africa.”

Samuel Adewuyi, convener of the event, said Future X is designed to address the execution gap in Africa’s tech ecosystem.

“We want to move from talking about the future, to building it,” he said.

“Future X exists to bring people together who are serious about solutions, access, and long-term impact.”
