Nollywood actress, Stephanie Linus, is excited about her new reality TV show, ‘Make Me Fabulous’, set to premiere on Sunday, May 24 at 7pm on DSTV’s Africa Magic Showcase, Channel 151.
‘Make Me Fabulous’ is about helping real-life married couples that are in the midst of drifting apart, as they face the challenges of rekindling their love.
The couples will be sent on a once-in-a-lifetime lavish and luxurious retreat where a team of marriage counsellors and relationship experts will guide them to a more loving and understanding relationship.
“I wanted to create an experience that reminds married couples that love always resides within if they just stopped and paid attention,” Stephanie said of the new TV show.
“It’s about giving couples a chance to connect without distractions, so that they can remember why they fell in love again. This is a show that keeps love at the epicentre of a family.”
The reality TV show will be unscripted and will feature 13 episodes and 13 couples from newlyweds, to relationships spanning over decades.
Stephnaie recently won a Best Protagonist award at the inaugural Bentonville Film Festival (BFF) in Arkansas, US for her sterling performance as Zara in the upcoming movie, Dry.
The movie, which was also produced and directed by the actress, follows a trail of Zara’s trip to Africa, her constant turmoil as a result of inexplicable horrors from her childhood, and her experiences and heartaches while working with young girls suffering from complications from early childbirth as child brides.
