Trading activities on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday show that the market capitalisation, which opened at N13.613 trillion, added N95 billion to close the week at N13.708 trillion.

Also, the All-Share Index added 288.45 points or 0.70 per cent to close the week at 41,517.10 from the previous 41,228.65 ended on Thursday.

A total of 215.4 million shares worth N2.5 billion were traded in 4,551 deals against 340.5 million shares valued at N3.711 billion exchanged in 5,339 deals on Thursday.

Seplat topped the price gainers’ chart with N10 to close at N660 per share.

Conoil came second adding N6.75 to close at N72.73, while Nigerian Breweries gained N4.53 to close at N174.64 per share.

Conversely, Okomuoil topped the price losers’ chart with N0.86 to close at N33.00 per share.

NCR followed with a loss of N0.79 to close at N15.20, while Wapco dipped by N0.50 to close at N110 per share.

Transcorp was the toast of investors, trading 37.5 million shares worth N157.7 million.

UBA sold 35.57 million shares valued at N287.7 million, while Zenith Bank sold 13.17 million shares worth N333.85 million.
