Sulaiman Argungu, national organising secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), says the party won 13 of 16 legislative seats in the August 16 by-elections.
Argungu said the outcome reaffirmed the confidence Nigerians continue to repose in the APC.
He listed the constituencies won by the party to include Ganye in Adamawa, Ovia federal constituency and Edo central senatorial district in Edo, Babura-Garki federal constituency in Jigawa, Zaria Kewaye and Basawa in Kaduna, and Chikun/Kajuru federal constituency in Kaduna.
Other seats are Ghari/Tsanyawa in Kano, Okura in Kogi, Munya in Niger, Remo federal constituency in Ogun, Karim Lamido in Taraba, and Kaura Namoda south in Zamfara.

“These victories are not just statistics; they are a reaffirmation of the trust Nigerians continue to place in the APC,” Argungu said.
“They demonstrate the strength, resilience, and growing acceptance of our party nationwide. They also reflect the belief of the Nigerian people in our capacity to deliver purposeful leadership and good governance.”
Argungu said the party would soon hold an interactive session in Abuja with all elected lawmakers from the by-election.

He said the engagement would help share ideas, build trust, and align representatives with the vision of the APC and the expectations of Nigerians.
The APC chieftain thanked President Bola Tinubu for his “visionary leadership”, and commended governors, the national working committee, stakeholders, and party supporters for their loyalty and sacrifice.
He said the party remains committed to Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and will continue to prioritise the welfare, security, and prosperity of Nigerians.
“The task before us is enormous, but with discipline, loyalty, and unity, we will continue to deliver victories for the APC and progress for Nigeria,” he said.
