The Super Eagles of Nigeria will travel to Austria in October for two high-profile international games against Ivory Coast and Tunisia.

Amaju Pinnick, president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), took to his Twitter page on Wednesday to announce the friendly matches.

He said the three-time African champions will take on the Elephants of Ivory Coast on October 9, while the match against the Les Aigles de Carthage of Tunisia will hold four days after at the same venue.

“On the 9th of October, the Super Eagles will play former African champions, Cote D’Ivoire in a friendly game, then face another African giant and former champions Tunisia, four days later, on the 13th,” he wrote.

“Both games will be held in Austria for a few obvious reasons.”

Pinnick also disclosed that the goal of the federation is to ensure that the Gernot Rohr’s side conquer the continent in the next Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

“The dream is to conquer Africa at the next Nations Cup and qualify for the World Cup in 2022. I’m certain, with your support, we will get there,” he added.

The games are in preparation for the AFCON qualifying double-header against Sierra Leone in November.
