T2 Mobile has signed a multi-million-dollar strategic partnership with Knot Solutions, an Indian digital transformation company, to overhaul its business support systems (BSS) and operations support systems (OSS).
The deal comes one week after the telecom company partnered with Huawei to modernise its core network infrastructure.
According to a statement on Wednesday, the agreement was signed during the Gitex Nigeria conference, with industry leaders and stakeholders from across Africa in attendance.
“With strategic initiatives such as national roaming already underway, and a recent multi-million-dollar infrastructure deal with Huawei, creating a powerful dual-pronged strategy that modernizes network operations, access to infrastructure and digital customer engagement platforms, T2 is poised to redefine the digital experience for millions of Nigerian customers,” the telco said

Obafemi Banigbe, chief executive officer (CEO) of T2, said the partnership is central to the company’s plan to reposition itself as Nigeria’s “digital lifestyle partner”.
“This is not just a systems upgrade,” Banigbe said.

He said the four-phase strategy of stabilisation, modernisation, transformation, and growth would enable T2 to regain competitiveness, expand digital offerings, and support Nigeria’s digital economy.
On his part, Sumanth Konuru, CEO of Knot Solutions, said the company’s cloud-native platform, RaptrDXP™, would enable T2 to introduce real-time billing, self-service tools, and hyper-personalised data bundles.
“Africa’s telecom landscape is transforming rapidly, and the modernisation of BSS and OSS platforms is at the core of that shift,” Konuru said.
