Taxify has announced that it will be taking two of its loyal riders on an all-expenses-paid holiday trip to Dubai as part of its new campaign.

The transportation company, which recently unveiled its latest campaign themed ‘Because I Taxify’, has in recent times sought to appeal to a broader base of users.

According to Uche Okafor, Taxify’s country manager: “Our objective with this campaign is to put a spotlight on the value Taxify has for real people.

“Getting people to appreciate how much easier their lives are or can be because they ride Taxify rather than any alternative transportation mode, whether its public transportation or driving themselves.”

To be eligible to win the trip to Dubai, passengers only have to share their experiences showing how much better their lives are because they use the Taxify service.

“We want to know how using our app makes their lives easier – are they less stressed, spending more time with their families, or able to get promotions or raises at work because the stress of commuting is taken away,” Okafor said.

Taxify says it will pick winners on the basis of engagement – the most inspirational stories that also receive the highest overall comments and likes.

Already, the campaign has been positively received by passengers with many of them putting in entries on their social pages.

Here is my story @taxify.ng : Read, like and share your story in the comment section❤️ @taxify.ng rescued me on Monday 29th October, 2018. If you live in Lagos, am sure you know what happened on that day, OPERATIONS VELVET, where almost all commercial vehicles stayed in their homes to avoid been apprehended for any reason. Unfortunately for me, my car decided to ‘show me pepper that day’, a tyre went flat overnight n it was too early (5am) to get a vulcanizer to rescue me, so I had to use the commercial vehicles to work. Waited for like an hour for yellow taxi but none was forth coming, my battery was low n I couldn’t risk using the internet so it doesn’t go off. Alas it was 6:30am and I am still at 7up bustop enroute Ikoyi on a Monday morning (we all know how terrible third mainland Brigde n Ikorodu road is on Mondays especially at that time), having stayed for about 90mins, I met some of my colleagues who were also trying to get a bus/car😄. So the strange confidence came and I used my @taxify.ng app, put in my details n voom the vehicle arrived. Very funny we got to Ikoyi before 8am and I was able to make my 9am meeting! Was indeed a RESCUE! The driver was fast & drove professionally, the vehicle was neat n in good condition! Download your @taxify.ng @taxify.ng app today and thank me later!
