TB Joshua blasts critics, says Clinton won popular vote
TB Joshua, founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nation (SCOAN), has reacted to the criticisms which trailed him over the outcome of the US presidential election.
The prophet had said he saw a vision that Hillary Clinton emerged the next president of the US.
“In order not to keep you in suspense, what I saw frankly is a woman,” he had said.
The victory of Donald Trump subjected Joshua to harsh criticism, particularly on social media.
But in a statement on Sunday the “Man of God” as he is called by members of his church, said he does not belong to the same level with his attackers.
He said those who lacked spiritual understanding tried to interpret his prophecy, and explained that it was “all about popular vote”.
Though Clinton won the popular vote, her inability to garner the required 270 electoral college votes – Trump secured 290 – cost her the election.
“We have seen the outcome of the election in America. Having read, you will notice that it is all about the popular vote, the vote of the majority of Americans,” Joshua’s statement read.
“I see many people trying to interpret prophets on the basis of their own minds and ideas. The prophecy seems to cause uproar, to many who gave it different meaning and interpretation.
“In this case, we need the spirit of a prophet to recognise or to know a prophet. Our levels are different. We are not on the same level.
“We might have great cathedrals, huge bells, and all kinds of activities that are good by human standards but human point of view is limited.
“1 Corinthians 1:25. The foolishness of God is wiser than that of men and the weakness of God is stronger than that of men. There is no shortcut to spiritual maturity unless earthly understanding gives way to spiritual enlightenment.
“Finally, campaigns and elections in any democratic country in the world are never about one person, it is about the country we care and love. Whichever way it happens, we must accept the outcome and then look to the future (God), the Author and Finisher.
“Democracy is all about accommodation. All democrats must value the process of democracy more than the product.”
TB JOSHUA was wrong in his profecy period. It would have been understandable had he said that Hilary Clinton would win the election but he said that a woman would become the US president.So he’s totally wrong.
I only blame Nigerians who are so gullible to follow whoever declares himself as a prophet of God. As for me, i prefer to remain a catholic where my faith is not dependent on one GO or man of God or God of men. I work out my salvation by myself through my determination, not forced or compelled.

I think tb Joshua is a confused prophet. He should try more to focus on touching souls with the salvation message than prophesying on politics.

SENIOR PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA IS A GREAT MAN OF GOD WITH THE SEAL OF GOD IN HIM. THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS ARE AFRAID OF HIM, THAT IS WHY THEY ARE RAISINS ALL KINDS OF CRITICISMS TO DISCREDIT HIM BUT IT IS AN IMPOSSIBLE TASK.
Your fake god is not my Almighty God that never changeth. Your calculation failed woefully this time around but those gullible and feeble minded ones will still be gullible no matter what. Next time, order them to eat grass or their stool.. They will do it because they are Africans…
