Team Brazil soared to its first-ever series victory at the E1 Lagos GP on Sunday, delivering a commanding performance at the landmark African event.
Piloted by Timmy Hansen and Leva Millere-Hagin, the team dominated the waters, successfully navigating through the group races and race-off before securing a decisive win in the final.
The victory earned Team Brazil 38 points, elevating their championship tally to 89 points.
Team Blue Rising finished in second place, with Team Drogba rounding out the podium. Notably, championship front-runners Team Rafa and Team Brady missed out on the top three this time.

The E1 Lagos GP, an all-electric powerboat race, represents a fusion of cutting-edge technology and environmental sustainability.
Lagos state made history as the first African city to host the prestigious E1 championship, with the event held on October 5 and 6 in the Victoria Island area.
Speaking at the finals, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos governor, hailed the event as a testament to innovation and progress.

The governor emphasised that the event showcased the state’s creativity, resilience, and commitment to clean energy and sustainable solutions.
“Hosting the E1 Grand Prix is not just about sport. It is about innovation, environmental responsibility, and putting Lagos on the global map for future-focused development,” Sanwo-Olu told journalists.
