The news of Arsene Wenger bowing out from Arsenal football club at the end of the season took some football lovers by surprise.
Wenger, who spent 22 years at top English club, meant different things to different people.

If Arsenal wish to uphold the proud tradition of having a manager whose name is pretty much the same as the club, hard to see past Senol Gunes replacing Arsène Wenger. If anything, the surname makes him more qualified.

Before feeling too sorry for Arsene Wenger he probably made cica. 150mil in his 20 odd years here. Sure he gave a lot but in return was paid handsomely and the board backed him in his last 10 years despite achieving nothing. No other club would have let Wenger get away with it.
