Adebulu
Taiwo Adebulu, features and investigations editor at TheCable, Nigeria’s foremost digital newspaper, has been named one of the finalists for the 2025 Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) Excellence in Journalism Awards.
The award, now in its second edition, recognises exceptional contributions to journalism, fact-checking, media innovation, and community-centred reporting across West Africa.
In a statement on Saturday, Kemi Busari, chair of the CJID award committee, said 13 finalists were shortlisted from 275 entries received from journalists across the region.
He added that the high number of entries reflects the growing impact and recognition of the award as a benchmark for quality journalism in West Africa.
