Ibukun Harrison is confident that Lobi Stars’ two wins and one draw have put them in a good position to challenge for the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title.
The former Akwa United central defender played in Sunday afternoon’s hard-fought 1-0 win over Go Round FC.
“Seven points in the League, now what remains is to win the title,” he declared in a chat with TheCable after the game.
“The game was very complicated, the crowd and the team press down on you, it’s always difficult to win.
“We suffered but we were superior and we had the chances to score.”
Lobi Stars are on top of the league table with seven points from three games.
