Tiger Woods, golf legend, was on Tuesday hospitalised after being involved in a single-car accident in Los Angeles.

According to TMZ, Mark Steinberg, Woods agent, disclosed that he suffered “multiple leg injuries” and will undergo surgery.

It is understood that fire crews had to use the “jaws of life” to rescue the 15-time major winner from his car after it rolled over and suffered major damage.

The Los Angeles County sheriff’s department also confirmed Wood’s accident in a statement on its official Twitter handle.
