President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Ayiri Emami, a prominent Itsekiri leader, on his 50th birthday.
In a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, special adviser to the president on information and strategy, Tinubu extolled Emami’s dedication to national development.
The president acknowledged the Itsekiri chief’s ‘‘valiant efforts in peacebuilding and in ensuring the safety and sustenance of critical oil and gas resources, as well as in fostering unity and stability in the Niger Delta region.’’
He also praised Emami’s role in strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta state and noted his unwavering loyalty to the Tinubu’s family.

The president prayed for Emami’s continued good health and expressed hope for more years of service to the Itsekiri people and Nigeria.
