President Bola Tinubu will on Tuesday depart Abuja for Lagos to attend the 50th anniversary celebration of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
ECOWAS was founded on May 28, 1975, to promote economic integration across West Africa.
In April, the regional bloc launched the 50th anniversary celebration in Accra, the capital of Ghana, and has lined up a series of activities in Lagos, Nigeria, to mark the golden jubilee.
The re-enactment of the 1975 declaration will take place at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA) in Victoria Island.
