President Bola Tinubu has honoured Abubakar Dantsoho, the managing director (MD) of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), with an award of excellence for his contributions to maritime reform.

Dantsoho received the ‘Excellence in Maritime Infrastructure Modernisation & Global Competitiveness’ award on Sunday, at the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS) held at the presidential villa, Abuja.

NEAPS is a presidential initiative coordinated by the office of the secretary to the government of the federation, and recognises outstanding public servants who have demonstrated professionalism, innovation, and impact in office.

In a statement, NPA said Dantsoho’s recognition reflects his performance in boosting ports’ efficiency.
