Tinubu seeks senate’s confirmation of Oludare Sunday as NDIC MD

President Bola Tinubu has asked the senate to confirm Thompson Oludare Sunday as the managing director of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).

Tinubu also nominated Kabir Sabo Kataka as the executive director in the NDIC.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio read the president’s letter during the plenary on Wednesday.

Akpabio referred the nominations to the senate committee on banking, insurance and other financial institutions.

He said the committee should carry out further legislative work and report back as soon as practicable.
