President Bola Tinubu
President Bola Tinubu will address the nation on Wednesday at 7 am to commemorate Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day anniversary.
In a statement on Tuesday, Bayo Onanuga, special adviser to the president on information and strategy, said all television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets should join the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.
This will be the third time Tinubu will address the nation on Independence Day since May 29, 2023, when he assumed office.
The Independence Day speech by the president has become a tradition to commemorate the October 1, 1960, independence from British rule.
