London, capital of the UK is one of the most visited cities in the world. Perhaps this is due to its great history and exciting attractions.

The Tower of London offers a step back into the past with guided tours that give you all of the goriest details of its previous inhabitants. Then you also have Buckingham Palace, the official London residence of the Royal Family. Both places are steeped in history and Buckingham Palace is worth a visit to see the architecture and décor alone!

There are lots of other exciting things to do in London that don’t necessarily get listed as the top attractions but are still right up there with experiences that will make your trip to London a very memorable one. Here are some top places to visit during your stay in London:

West End Show

If you enjoy shows and musicals then London’s West End is a must for you. Take a look at some of the world-class acts that will be appearing in shows during your stay and get tickets to see for yourself just how good they are. Top shows include Lion King, Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera amongst many other options.

Wembley Stadium Tour

Sports fans should try and get some sporting action whilst they are in London. If you can’t get hold of tickets for a football match or a rugby match then you can do a stadium tour. Wembley is England’s biggest stadium and plays host to a large calendar of sporting events including football cup finals and national team games. It is also the current home ground for Tottenham Hotspur, as well as hosting huge music concerts for top artists from across the world such as Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.
