Transsion Holdings, parent company of TECNO, itel and Infinix, on Friday, launched a content curating app.

Scooper is a news and content mobile application that brings users latest viral content from across the world.

According to Mike Adegbite Adedotun, business development officer at Transsion, Scooper is not just a news app but an information app.

He said Scooper gives users access to explore up-to-date content in categories such as politics, lifestyle, sports, opinion articles, novels, spirituality, videos and entertainment.

She said the app has features such as live sports commentary, football betting tips and various opportunities to make money using the in-app currency called Scooper coins.
