Troops of the Joint Task Force (JTF) under Operation Hadarin Daji have rescued 15 kidnapped victims in Zamfara.

According to Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency publication focused on the Lake Chad region, the victims were rescued on Monday in Kayan Boggo village in Bukkuyum LGA of the state.

The publication said during the rescue mission, the troops blocked every route suspected of being used by the bandits, and killed many of them.

The publication added that other members of the terror group fled the battleground and abandoned their victims.
