William Troost-Ekong captained the Super Eagles to a 1-0 victory over Poland Friday night.

The feat, he says, makes him “very honoured and proud”.

The Bursaspor central defender showed quality in the heart of the defence alongside Leon Balogun and then Kenneth Omeruo.

He had a night to remember as he skippered the three-time African champions for the first time in his career.
