UBA Foundation donates food, relief items to elderly, children in Lagos

UBA Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, has extended support to vulnerable groups in Lagos through its charity outreach programme.

According to a statement, the foundation visited So-Said Charity Homes Community and SOS Children’s Village, where it distributed essential food items, including bags of rice, beans, and other staples, to the elderly, children, and other vulnerable residents.

Alero Ladipo, UBA’s group head of marketing and corporate communications, said the initiative reflects the foundation’s commitment to giving back to communities.

“The elderly and children are among the most vulnerable in society, and it is our responsibility to support them in any way we can,” Ladipo said.
