“We are proud of his sterling qualities. Last year, he made cash donations to some of his constituents. This year, he is doing the same again.”
Sani reiterated that the cash donation to indigent people is aimed at making them self reliant and boosting their businesses, advising beneficiaries to be prudent.
He commended Umar Dikko Radda, governor of Katsina state, for his support to the Ibrahim Masari Foundation.

Radda said Katsina is blessed for having Masari in the corridors of power, adding that his presence has brought immense benefits to the state.
According to him, Katsina state has benefited from federal government appointments, contracts and other dividends of democracy due to Masari’s presence in Abuja.
Radda promised that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has come to stay in the state, adding that the people will vote for Tinubu in 2027.
“We are now going round the local governments and felicitating with the people,” he said.

Nentawe Yilwatda, national chairman of the APC, described Masari as not just a politician that operates at the national level but also a grassroots politician.
According to him, the donation from Masari’s foundation will help reduce the challenge of multidimensional poverty that is ravaging the north.
The national chairman thanked Radda for “building a united Katsina state”, adding that this will translate to more votes for the party in 2027.
The foundation said it has given N300,000 each to 1,000 business owners in Malumfashi and Kafur local governments as part of its annual empowerment programme.
