UEL group stage: AC Milan draw Celtic, Arsenal get Molde

AC Milan and Celtic, two European football giants, have been drawn with Lille and Sparta Prague in Group H of the 2020/21 UEFA Europa League (UEL) season.

This season’s UEL group stage draw was held in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday.

Nigeria’s Samuel Chukwueze, who plies his trade with Villarreal, will be playing against Qarabag, Maccabi Tel-Aviv and Sivasspor in Group I.

For Ramon Azeez’s Granada, they face tricky away ties to Thessaloniki and PSV Eindhoven, where they will need to be at their best to overcome PAOK and PSV in Group E respectively.

During the ceremony, Romelu Lukaku was named as the winner of the Europa League ‘Player of the Season’ award.

Mikel Arteta’s boys are in Group B against Rapid Vienna, Molde and Dundalk while José Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur will face Ludogorets, LASK and Royal Antwerp in Group J.

The final is scheduled to take place at the Gdańsk Stadium in Poland on May 26, 2021.
