United Nigeria Airlines says it will begin regional and international operations from August 25, with flights to the United Kingdom, United States, United Arab Emirate (UAE), South Africa, Senegal, and Ghana.
The airline announced on Friday while confirming it had signed a global distribution agreement with Sabre Central and West Africa, a joint venture of Sabre Corporation, to make its fares and inventory available on the Sabre travel marketplace.
Osita Okonkwo, chief operating officer of United Nigeria Airlines, described the agreement as a major milestone in the airline’s expansion.
“For the first time, we are making our product available through a global travel marketplace, giving us the opportunity to broaden our reach and connect with travellers around the world,” Okonkwo said.
