Here are the top performers who made TheCable’s team of the week.

Francis Uzoho – Apoel Nicosia

Uzoho was in brilliant form against Paeek, making a number of saves to give Apoel a clean sheet.

Tyrone Ebuehi – Twente

Tyrone Ebuehi was excellent against Zwolle at the weekend. He occasionally got forward and used his pace and sharp tackling to control the right flank. He recorded an assist.

Felix Uduokhai – Augsburg

Felix Uduokhai played well for Augsburg. He was the last-man tackling while also marshalling the defence.

Jamilu Collins – Paderborn

A solid display by Jamilu Collins which helped Paderborn to see off Jahn Regensburg in Germany.

Moses Ogbu – Mjallby

Moses Ogbu was the one-man wrecking machine for Mjallby during the match against OFK. He bagged a brace.

Paul Mukairu – Anderlecht

Paul Mukairu was central to Anderlecht’s 1-0 victory over Royal Antwerp. His intelligence helped him score the winner.

Olabanjo Ogunji – Takums

Unheralded Olabanjo Ogunji turned up for Takums with a brace against Spartaks.

John Obi Mikel – Stoke City

Stoke City’s win over Rotherham United was largely inspired by John Obi Mikel.

Anthony Nwakaeme – Trabzonspor

It was a great display from Nwakaeme. The 31-year-old Nigerian scored twice although his team lost 4-3 to Kasimpasa.

Paul Onuachu – Genk

Paul Onuachu scored a penalty and also combined well with Cyriel Dessers, his team mate, for one of the goals in the 4-0 win over Eupen.

Simy – Crotone

Atalanta defenders were helpless against the big front man. He walked through them almost effortlessly for his goal.
