Drama, ecstasy, tears as Chibok girls meet their parents

Tears flowed freely at the thanksgiving service organised on Sunday for the 21 kidnapped Chibok girls who regained their freedom.

The girls, who spent more than two years in captivity, had lots of touching stories to tell, with Gloria Dame, one of them, saying they had no food to eat for 40 days in the forest.

Videos shared by Williams Adeleye, a Facebook user, showed parents expressing emotions in ways best known to them.

In one of them, a mother could be seen carrying her daughter on her back to express joy at being reunited with her.
