Suspected thugs on Friday invaded a Rivers high court and disrupted proceedings.
Magnus Abe, senator representing Rivers south-east, had gone to the court to seek an injunction restraining the faction under Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation, from holding local government congress in the state.
While the court was in session, the suspected thugs broke into the premises, chased away judges, lawyers, vandalised vehicles and buildings.
