Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook, made a quiet visit to Nigeria on Tuesday on his first trip to sub-Saharan Africa.

His first stop was Yaba, ‘Nigeria’s Silicon Valley’, where he visited a Co-Creation Hub, a technology incubator.

The tech mogul said he came to Nigeria to “listen and learn” and take ideas back to California on how Facebook can better support tech development and entrepreneurship across Africa.

The billionaire, dressed in a grey t-shirt, a blue jean and a Nike trainers walked the streets of Yaba like a regular citizen.
