Blessing Omotola, a visually impaired woman, is seeking financial assistance to undergo surgery for malignant breast cancer.

According to Punch, Omotola, a 57-year-old resident of the Iju Atan area of Ogun state, needs N7 million to cover the cost of her surgery, post-operative care, and feeding.

Omotola recounted how she discovered a lump in her breast in November 2024.

Initially mistaking it for a boil, she sought medical advice as it grew, she narrated.

“I went for the tests, but I had to wait for close to three months before I received the results,” she said.

A follow-up test in June 2025 confirmed the diagnosis.

“I had spent close to N300,000 on the test and medications,” Omotola added.

Omotola’s husband is also visually impaired.

“My husband and I are blind, and I don’t have a job,” she said.

“I am begging Nigerians to please help me to be able to carry out the operation and treatment. I would be very grateful if they could support me.”
