Wale Edun, minister of finance and coordinating minister of the economy, has returned to Nigeria after a trip abroad.
A video on social media showed Edun at Fraser Suites in Abuja.
He was reported to have had a closed door meeting with a Qatari delegation at the hotel on Sunday, alongside Jumoke Oduwole, minister for industry trade and investment.
Edun had been reported to be indisposed and left Abuja for Lagos on Monday night via a commercial flight before travelling abroad for medical care.

Last week, Bayo Onanuga, presidential spokesperson, confirmed that the minister was indisposed.
As a result of Edun’s health condition, Olayemi Cardoso, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), led Nigeria’s delegation to the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) annual meetings in Washington DC, United States.
Meanwhile, the minister was recently seen at the O’DA Art Gallery booth during the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair in London.

Onanuga, who also shared the video on X, confirmed that the minister was in the United Kingdom (UK).
“Finance minister Wale Edun visits an art exhibition in the UK. He is in the country for an officially sanctioned few days of rest from the rigours of managing the Nigerian economy,” Onanuga wrote on his X page.
