Flying Eagles coach, Manu Garba, has told the other teams who are yet to face his team to expect defeat when they meet his side at the on-going African Youth Championship in Senegal.

The Flying Eagles pummelled Congo 4-1 to qualify for the semi-finals of the AYC and in the process becoming the first team from Africa to qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand in May.

Captain Musa Mohammed scored a brace while Ifeanyi Matthew and Taiwo Awoniyi were also on target for Nigeria.

But Garba said the team won’t relent in subsequent games.

“We want to keep winning because we are a team who wants to win all our matches,” he said.

“We have already qualified for the World Cup after just two matches but we will put behind us this second win.”

The team forward Chidera Ezeh said he was excited they have booked a ticket to New Zealand.

“We are all happy that we have already qualified for the World Cup,” he said.

“But the job is not finished yet as we want to now go all the way.”
