Webcoupers Consulting has been honoured as the social media management company of the year by the Nigeria Technology Awards (NiTA).

At the recently held ceremony in Lagos, Webcoupers was nominated in another categor–digital marketing agency.

The social media management company of the year award was received by the co-founders of Webcoupers , Bode Olatoye and Peter Ajegbomogun.

NiTA yearly recognises the top technology entrepreneurs, technology professionals, corporate organisations, innovators, academics, inventors and policy makers in the country.

Organisers says the five-year-old awards are aimed at building a large scale and internationally recognised technology awards in Nigeria.

Webcoupers Consulting, a technology and marketing agency, says it is focused on driving innovation and growth “for forward-thinking brands”.

Some of the brands they have worked with are Glo, Mouka Limited, Halogen, Payporte, Sterling Bank, and Bet9ja.

“We promise and hope that in 2020 we will redefine what digital marketing and advertising is in Nigeria,” the company said in a statement shared with TheCable.

It said the award “signifies a huge step for [Webcoupers Consulting] as [our] efforts are being recognised across the country”.
