The World Health Organisation (WHO) has donated trauma kits for the treatment of victims of attacks in Plateau communities.

According to NAN, Musa Mahdi, WHO coordinator in Plateau, said the donation was in line with the organisation’s commitment to supporting the government in addressing humanitarian issues.

On December 24, gunmen invaded about 17 villages in Bokkos, Barkin-Ladi, and parts of Mangu LGAs and killed over 100 residents.

More than 200 houses were destroyed while many residents were left injured and displaced.
