Who is Nigeria’s king of rap?

After a successful and exciting first episode, the VS Class Episode 2 — dubbed the search for the hottest lyricist — is ready about to start.

At the last episode in April, ‘The Chairman’, MI; multiple award lyricist, Mode 9; Rap diva, Sasha P; Rap duo, Show Dem Camp and a number of top MCs came together launch The VS Class, a first-of-its-kind hip-hop radio show in Nigeria.

Hosted by on-air personalities, Olisa Adibua and Jimmie at the Beat FM, it featured 10 underground MCs who showcased their skills by dropping 16 mind-blowing bars for the opportunity to be named Nigeria’s biggest MC. At the end of the show, underground rapper, Eclipse, emerged winner.

M.I, Mode9, Show Dem Camp, Sasha P, Eva and performed breathtaking freestyles non-stop that got everyone in the studio screaming with excitement.

The VS Class episode 2 will hold on Thursday, July 3 at the Beat 99.9FM studios and will be judged by the likes of Illbliss, Reminisce, Falz and Yung6ix!

Sponsored by Hennessy, the show features three episodes in 2014 and will also honour Nigerian rap icons who will be named on The VS Class Wall of Fame.
