Argentine footballer Marcos Rojo says none of the games in the group stage of the World Cup will be easy.

The Manchester United star will most likely be fielded when his country takes on Nigeria, Croatia and Iceland in group D.

Nigeria have faced Argentina in four World Cups but the South American country prevailed in all those encounters.

The Super Eagles have defeated Argentina twice in international friendlies but are yet to win a World Cup game against the Albeceste.

Commenting on facing the Super Eagles yet again, Rojo said: “It’s Nigeria again.

“Croatia and Iceland are in there too. Hopefully, Lionel Messi will be in form and can do something for us.”

The defender added: “We give everything when we are wearing it and we want payback for the way things happened at the last World Cup.

“We will do everything to give our fans the possibility to celebrate winning the trophy again.”

As the commencement of the World Cup draws closer, one of the most anticipated games is the group stage match between the perennial rivals.
