Nnadozie Chiamaka has sounded a warning to Super Falcons group A opponent at the 2019 Fifa Women’s World Cup, France, that the team will not lose to the host nation on Monday night.

Nnadozie was in goal when the Falcons lost 8-0 to the France side in a friendly match in 2018.

The 18-year old Rivers Angels shot-stopper is however confident, In an interview with Fifa, she said the nine-time African champions will not allow history to repeat itself in the last group A match.

All Super Falcons need is atleast a point to qualify for the knock out round.

“That was last year. I know we are not going to lose. We are going to make our country proud,” Nnadozie said.

“I know they will feel relaxed, think that they will maybe score more than eight goals.

“It’s going to be a tough game. They are one of the best teams in the competition, but we are letting them know that it’s not going to be like that again.

Les Bleus are top of the group with six points after successfully seeing off Korea and Norway.

The Thomas Dennerby’s side started their campaign in the 2019 Fifa Women’s World Cup on a poor note, with a 3-0 defeat to Norway on June 8 before edging out Korea Republic 2-0 in the second game.

Super Falcons, who are third in the group will face France at the Roazhon Park, Rennes by 8pm Nigerian time.
