Yahaya Bello, governor of Kogi state, says the country is going through a phase that it will not last.

In a Christmas message on Friday, Bello said the season signifies hope for mankind and citizens should remain optimistic about a better country.

The governor asked citizens to emulate God’s love to mankind and replicate the same to their neighbors during the season.

Bello said though the holiday season is a good time to spend with family, friends and loved ones, it should also be for sober reflections and a time of prayers for peace, unity and togetherness of the country.
