You are who you are

You are who you are

YouNow is created for the everyday individual who seeks to gain a deeper understanding of Self in order to achieve their highest potential, while staying true to their essence. These write-ups are designed to help you become more conscious and deliberate in your interactions and day-to-day living

Start by knowing what you want and who you are, build integrity around it and deliver it in a compelling way- Krista Neher – paraphrased

If what people say about you is your reputation, especially behind your back, and your resume is what you say about yourself, then it makes sense to say your brand is a combination of what you see, what you say, what you want them to see and what they actually see.

The word ‘Brand’ has since evolved from being used for only products, services and corporations to a word used for individuals like you and I.

The question is no longer If you have a personal brand but if you choose to nurture and guide the brand or allow it to be defined for you irrespective.

The more successful you want to be today; the more important personal branding becomes.

Now this isn’t to say that everyone doing what they love will become a millionaire or a billionaire. It basically means that you’re more willing to invest in that cause and make necessary sacrifices for it to grow and be successful.

Promotions, partnerships, interviews, job placements, speaking engagements, regardless of your industry or professional status, your personal brand has the power to make or break all kinds of opportunities for advancement.

Information about you is now easily accessible. Small wonder the internet seems to be agog with people according all sorts of titles and names, qualifications and status to themselves in what appears like a desperate attempt to ‘look good’ and tower above the next person.

Life in itself affords us the freedom to be whoever we choose to be.

However, while it is important to have an online presence, a medium will never substitute a message.

It’s either you have one or you’re living in the shadows of someone else’s undefined personal mission statement.

Pay attention to the person you are within. Build inner strength

Irrespective of all the outer coverings you may inherit or acquire, your true strength lies in your inner perspectives of self.

Who are you? What do you want? What is your story?

Concentrate on understanding yourself, your values and interests.

Keep in mind that It’s not about selling. It’s about making yourself available to others.

The sheer openness and genuineness of your authentic expression. Value is what really endears people to us.

To compromise the integrity of your identity is to waiver in the face of mediocrity and conformity.

Celebrate your essence; Work from within. The inside to the outside.

The world will adjust.

You are who you are

Remember Freedom is Peace; Optimism is Nature; Action is always within reach. BE MORE!
