The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has re-elected Yusuf Dantalle as its national chairman.

Dantalle was re-elected for another two-year term on Monday in Abuja.

Dantalle is the national chairperson of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).

He reclaimed the IPAC chairmanship unanimously after Kenneth Udeze of the Action Alliance, his only rival, withdrew from the contest.

Speaking afterwards, Dantalle said the election is a “victory for sustainable democracy and development in IPAC and the nation”.

“It is our collective victory and a triumph of hope for a better, greater and brighter Inter Party Advisory Council,” he said.

Dantalle added that he kept his promise to establish the directorates for women, youth, and persons with disabilities.

“IPAC will keep growing from strength to strength as we collaborate with stakeholders and citizens to build a strong, virile, united, equitable and inclusive democratic nation,” he said.
