Babagana Zulum, governor of Borno state, has made a surprise appearance at the News Central TV town hall meeting.
According to a statement by Rosemary Egabor-Afolahan, director of commercial and communications, the town hall meeting offered a crucial platform for locals to voice their worries, thoughts, and experiences.
She added that the event offered officials a chance to interact with the populace and discuss urgent problems.
During the event, the Borno governor expressed his enthusiasm and passion for the state and outlined his administration’s achievements in education and security.

“We have taken out from the streets nothing less than one million children, the statistics are there, the World Bank and the United Nations can give testimonies to what I said,” Zulum said.
Several stakeholders and leaders also discussed the difficulties they have faced since the rise of insurgency in Borno.
In his speech, Kayode Akintemi, the managing director, reassured attendees and interested parties of News Central’s dedication to promoting development via solutions reporting.
