Unlike the previous shows, the viewers are also getting to know the housemates before the launch, the organisers revealing them in sets of three. Nine have been revealed so far in what is believed to be a smart strategy to calm the nerves of loyal viewers following the postponement of the show after the inferno setback.

Some were short-lived due to evictions from the house, but others got the viewers to fall in love with them.

BOLT AND BETTY, LK4 AND KOKETSO

Koketso and LK4

The short lived ones were those of Sierra Leone’s Bolt and Ethiopia’s Betty, and Uganda’s LK4 and South Africa’s Koketso. While LK4 played the rose-giving gentleman to Koketso, Bolt and Betty were already getting intimate on their third day but their romance were cut short as they were evicted from the house individually. Unfortunately, none of the two relationships survived outside the house.

HAKEEM AND CLEO

Hacleo

Zimbabwe’s Hakeem and Zambia’s Cleo were one of the hot couples formed and their relationship fetched them massive fans, who named them Hacleo. It was obvious at one point, especially after Hakeem’s eviction, that Cleo was not really into the relationship but she managed to maintain it, even after the show ended until when she could no longer fake it and they called it quits, announcing it on their Facebook accounts for the Hacleo fans.

BEVERLY AND ANGELO

Beverly and Angelo

South African Angelo and Nigerian Beverly suffered a huge media lash while in the house and after for their very raunchy intimate sessions, especially with another woman being in the picture. They tried to keep the relationship going with Angelo coming to Nigeria for Beverly’s birthday party but not long after that, he called it off on Facebook and went back to his girlfriend, Candice.

ONEAL AND FEZA

Oneal and Feza

That of Botswana’s Oneal and Tanzania’s Feza was quite interesting and drama-filled. They would argue, Feza would cry, pleading for forgiveness and Oneal would scold her and then kiss her. Nicknamed Oneza, they were already living like an old married couple and many felt they would not last but theirs was surely one of the strongest. Long after the show ended, they were still publicly displaying their love even though they both have a child from previous relationships. They later moved to South Africa where they live till date.

ELIKEM AND POKELLO

Elikem and Pokello

The most unexpected one and most romantic of all at the moment is that of Zimbabwe’s Pokello and Ghana’s Elikem. Nicknamed Polikem, the two were in a world of their own while at the house. Always scheming and planning their strategy away from the other housemates on their bed or in the Jacuzzi, they hardly participated in public display of affection, which were not under the sheets. Long after the show ended, the two were seen traveling to and fro, spending quality time together. They got engaged in May after Elikem proposed to Pokello on stage at the Ghana Music Awards held in Accra, Ghana.
