He said neighbours heard a frightening scream.

“The man sounded like someone subdued man in need of rescue and we rushed to discovered that the man of the house was in his pool of his blood,” he said.

Neighbours took Basiru to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital but he was confirmed dead on arrival by doctors.

Hussaini was handed over to the police after the incident, which was confirmed by Magaji Musa Majia, the Kano police command spokesman.

“At about 10:00hrs one Rahma Hussaini of Darmunawa quarters stabbed her husband, one Tijjani M Basiru, on his stomach with a knife and was rushed to AKTH,” he said.

He said the criminal investigation department (CID) team had taken over the case.

  1. So sad, I really feel sorry for Tijjani but that will serve the both parents right. Other will learn never to subscribe to forcing their children to marry someone they don’t want.

  2. Parents should stop forceful marriage to their children bcos there’ll be no joy in the home therefore defeating the purpose of God for the institution.

  3. I don’t pity Tijani.did he lost his sanity to know that this is a forced marriage .he got what he wanted .let him go and hug transformer is love by force or voluntary
