Amokachi joins FC Ifeanyiubah

Former Super Eagles assistant coach, Daniel Amokachi, has been named the technical adviser of FC Ifeanyiubah.

He was also joined in the team by former Eagles goalkeeper trainer, Ike Shorunmu while former head coach John Obuh is now the club’s director of football.

Amokachi has handled the U-23 national team, home-based Eagles, Enyimba  and Nasarawa United.

Both Amokachi and Shorunmu, who were part of Stephen Keshi’s back room staff during his reign as Super Eagles coach, have assumed duties in the club and will make their debut in the Nigerian Professional Football League match against Sunshine Stars at Rojenny Stadium.

The match was rescheduled to Monday following rainfall that rendered the pitch unplayable when Heartland hosted Shooting Stars on Sunday.

FC Ifeanyiubah were billed to confront Sunshine Stars later that day.
