Members of #OurMumuDonDo movement have announced their plan to hold a candle light procession in front of the Abuja House in London.

The Abuja House is where President Muhammadu Buhari is staying in London.

In a statement, the protesters said the vigil at the entrance of Abuja House will start by 5pm on Friday.

“The metropolitan police has said they will provide security. What they are telling him (Buhari) is to go back home,” Deji Adeyanju, a leader of the group, said.

In another statement, members of the movement said if Buhari does not return in 21 days, they would approach the court to compel the federal executive council to set up a committee to appraise the president’s health.

“We hereby demand that President Buhari returns to the country and resume duty as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria within 21 days from today, or that he resigns completely from office to enable him return to Daura to take care of his ill health,” it read.

“Should the president be unable to comply with any of the aforementioned demands within 21 days, we will approach a court seeking an order to compel the federal executive council to set up a committee in line with section 144 of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria (as amended), to appraise the health of president Buhari and subsequently determine whether or not he can continue to discharge his presidential functions as enshrined in the constitution.”

The movement has asked Buhari to either resume office or resign.

On Tuesday, Charles Oputa also known as Charly Boy, co-convener of the movement, and other protesters were almost lynched at Wuse market in Abuja. This prompted the movement to postpone its protests.

Last week, the police cracked down on the anti-Buhari protesters at the Unity Fountain, Abuja.
